A Basic sCience – L’ABC della Scienza
Ten short scientific monologues on known and less known questions in Science will be performed (both in English and Italian) by young scientists coming from the main research centers of the city, between the town squares and the Old Port of Trieste.
Ten short single acts – monologues, of a maximum duration of 15 minutes each – will be represented several times (3 replicas for 4 days) in the Trieste squares and in the Old Port, where ESOF2020 takes place.
On top of small platforms, equipped with a radio microphone, the actors will attract passers-by with exciting interludes, short enough to be followed in full. The actors will be young volunteer scientists, coming from the main scientific institutions of the city, previously trained helped in the construction of their performance by actress, director and author Diana Höbel to make complex contents simple and attractive.
