CHAOS
Theatres of sound
The 4th and 5th of September, from 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm, the garden of the Museo Sartorio in Trieste will be transformed into a stage for scientists, artists and philosophers but above all the musicians protagonists of the cultural contamination project Chaos by cantierezero, Trieste’s collective for a new music. Chaos presents an outstanding team. Sylvain Reynal, the theoretical physicist and philosopher, specialist in the interaction between art and science, and the electronic engineer Claudio Weidmann – both associate professors and researchers at the ETIS laboratory, France – will attend the event, which also involves the composers Katharina Klement and Agostino Di Scipio, the duo NIMIKRY, the philosopher Giovanni Leghissa and the graphic artists Mario Alberti e Romeo Toffanetti.

Through a programme made by concerts, interactive installations, performances and talks, the audience is invited to reflect on the effects of the digital technologies pervading our times and discuss their impact on our lives. Here’s how Physics and Philosophy, Art and Science, come together in an event focused on contemporary culture.
