Science Fiction Night Marathon
A science fiction night marathon, from dusk till dawn, to discover and rediscover great classics and cult films of this genre. From 9.30 pm on 12th September to 6.00 am on 13th September at the Teatro Instabile Miela in Trieste, anyone will not be able to take part in the screenings of some milestones of the genre in a restored edition.
– Invasion of the Body Snatchers (USA, 1956) by Don Siegel, one of the most famous science fiction movies of the 1950s, in the original black and white version.
– They Live (USA, 1988), fantahorror of political criticism of the American society of the 1980s, written and directed by the master John Carpenter.
– La decima vittima – The 10th Victim (Italy, 1965) by Elio Petri, with Marcello Mastroianni and Ursula Andress, Italian science fiction between satire, thriller and pop art , based on a short story by Robert Sheckley.
– The Crazies (USA, 1973), story of a bacteriological war set in Pennsylvania directed by the “father of the zombies” George Romero.
