Date and place to be defined
Through musical passages and texts taken from the diaries of modern explorers and classic literature, the show will evoke the sensory and emotional experience of a pioneer who ventures to discover speleological and Antarctic environments, thus combining scientific and historical contents in a single event.
From Grieg to Debussy, Saint-Saëns and Scriabin, the musical performance will include world-premiered classical pieces with four musical miniatures, created by four composers specifically for this show (Mauricio Dottori, Marcela Pavia, Massimiliano Messieri and Marco Giommoni), as well as sound and digital processing in real time for piano, cello and voice.
The event is organized by Erica Bisesi, Michele Maris, Sarah Hennah Galiza and Stavro Ivanovski and is part of the series of conferences of the exhibition Xtreme: Living in extreme environments.
