Naturografie – A dialogue between Art, Nature and Man
The cultural Association Cizerouno and the EContemporary Gallery organize the exhibition of the artist from Tuscany Roberto Ghezzi, Naturografie, in the Veruda Hall (Palazzo Costanzi). The curators Elena Cantori, Monica Mazzolini e Massimiliano Schiozzi will be present at the exhibition opening, held Saturday the 15th of August at 7pm.
Naturografie is a project combining knowledge, the valorization of the natural environment and contemporary art. Beside creating an art work, Ghezzi aims at promoting a better knowledge of the territory both regarding its geography and biodiversity, and stimulates a different perception of the natural habitats which host and nurture artist’s works.

Roberto Ghezzi choses the habitats, in this case Italy and Croatia, for their aesthetic, physical, chemical and biological features, such as rivers, lakes, ponds. With his tools built from only natural materials, Roberto Ghezzi produces canvases in which are water-air-insects-leaves-soil-sand-algae-mould-prints that give a start to the creative process. The artist needs only to stop and fix the result, with resins and antioxidants, glass and plexiglass, to preserve the work created by the nature during time.
