Passion for Space – urban planning & architecture on the future of European cities

From 13th September to 11th October 2020, the former arsenal of the Lloyd Austriaco in Trieste (Androna Campo Marzio, 8) hosts the free exhibition Passion for Space – urban planning & architecture on the future of European cities, by the Lorenzateliers architecture studio.

On the occasion of the forty years of activity of the studio founded by architect Peter Lorenz in 1980, the exhibition aims to encourage a reflection on the role of the architect in the Coronavirus post-emergency phase, with a focus on how to make the cities of the future more citizen-friendly.

Through photographs, videos, drawings and models, the exhibition not only traces the activity of the studio itself, but also proposes projects designed specifically for Trieste and never realized, with the aim of emphasizing the importance and need for a dialogue on urban planning of the city.

The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Saturday, from 3.30pm to 7.30pm. Free entry.
