Famelab International All Stars – 2020 National final & International All Star 

FameLab, the international science communication show-competition, comes back to Trieste with brilliant researchers and former finalists who will perform on stage short presentations about cutting-edge research challenges, in just three minutes.

For the first time, on 31st August 2020 at the Teatro Stabile Politeama Rossetti, Trieste will host the national final competition, with the semifinals in the morning (from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm) with the 22 finalists of the local selections held between February and March in 15 Italian cities (Ancona, Bari, Cagliari, Catania, Florence, Foggia, Genoa, L’Aquila, Lecce, Milan, Nuoro, Pavia, Perugia, Sassari, Trieste) and the final in the evening (from 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm).

The evening event will also be enriched by the International All Star show, with the best former Italian and foreign competitors from the past editions.

Participants from all over Italy and Europe will entertain the audience with quick and intense presentations. From mathematics to medicine to engineering, they will address all areas of knowledge to highlight the interdisciplinary connections typical of modern research.

The show will be in Italian and English.

FameLab is a global science and public speaking competition created in 2005 in England at the Cheltenham Science Festival.
